Having started our business in King Street, Knutsford in the mid-eighties, we chose the setting of Wilmslow to accommodate our expansion. Our successful business partnership has brought a wealth of expertise in the field of eye care to two of the most picturesque towns in the heart of rural Cheshire.

Our History

Derek Clare became a qualified Optometrist after graduating from UMIST in 1976, while Alyson Illingworth gained her diploma in Dispensing at the City and East London College in 1975.

As we are independent opticians, we have the flexibility to offer a more diverse range of branded and unbranded frames and lenses for the whole family. Our extensive collection makes it easy for customers to choose something that suits their individual style
