Eye Test To qualify for a free eye test you have to be: Under 16 A full-time student under 19 Receiving income support or family credit On a low income and in receipt of a certificate AG2 Registered blind and partially sighted Diagnosed diabetic Prescribed complex lenses A glaucoma patient Over 40 and the parent, brother, sister or child of a person with glaucoma. People aged 60 or over
	Other categories can also receive help towards the cost of eye care.
